In todays world, we are faced with losses all the time. Not all losses are due to death. Many times there are meta losses. Death can be the ultimate loss. We are not really taught how to deal with death. Each family handles it differently. Each culture also has their own customs in dealing with loss.

Rob has been in the social service field for over twenty years. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW); an Illinois state Certified Advanced Alcohol and other Drug Counselor (CAADC); and has special board certification for working with the Mentally Ill.
Rob received his substance abuse training certification from the College of Dupage. His BA degree is from National-Louis University (double major in Human Services and Psychology). He has a Masters in Social Work (MSW); from Aurora University. Rob currently is a Clinical Associate Professor at Aurora University.
